3. Permissions Explained
To function effectively, Tab Sleep requires the following permissions, used strictly for local operations:
- tabs: To detect inactive tabs, perform the discard action, and restore them upon click.
- storage: To save your whitelist preferences and dashboard stats locally.
- idle: To safely determine user inactivity before putting tabs to sleep.
- alarms: To periodically check for inactive tabs in the background.
- system.memory: To calculate and display your RAM savings data.
